    "Ranieri is not the problem"

Inter president Massimo Moratti has stressed that head coach Claudio Ranieri is not the Nerazzurri's problem in the wake of their 2-1 Serie A loss against Juventus at San Siro on Saturday evening.
The Coppa Italia holders have won only two of their opening nine league games and currently sit 17th in the league table with eight points.

Nevertheless, Moratti refuses to blame the former Roma and Chelsea boss for the club's disappointing performances and has called for patience.

"In any case, the problem is not Ranieri," said Moratti to Sky Sport Italia.

"We'll just go ahead taking each match as it comes, we have to be patient. The first half against Juventus was fantastic, the second not quite so good."

The Inter boss then went on to discuss Inter's plans for the January transfer window and hinted that they could make some signings if their situation doesn't change.

"Let's hold on and see what the situation is in January," he concluded.
