Inter close to sign Matias Silvestre from Palermo

After Lucio came out with statement he wants to leave the club, Inter have worked hardly to find proper defense solution. The choice is Matias Silvestre from Palermo. The 27 year old  Argentian international is very close to wear Inter jersey next season. As reports say, Inter are willing to pay between 8 and 10 millions for the defender. Silvestre is Seria A player for 4 years, playing for Catania 3 seasons before switching for Palermo. He established himself as one of the best central defenders in Seria A and according to former Palermo president, only Tiago Silva from Milan is better than him. Although Milan showed interest for Silvestre, Inter beat city rivals and Silvestre is expected to sign 4 year deal in next few days. Inter also made an offer for Nacional de Montevideo 23 year old defender Alexis Rolin, great perspective and he could also join Inter very soon. He should be replacement for Andrea Ranocchia who is tracked by PSG and soon there will be offer that probably will be accepted by Inter. Inter also showed great interest in Mathieu Debuchy, who should be replacment for Maicon who is also on the exit door. Debuchy proved his class on Euro 2012 and now he is tracked by many clubs with Inter leading the way. He established as France first choice right back and he would fit perfectly for Inter instead of Maicon who is expected to join former Inter coach Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid. Forza INTER!
