Inter signed Handanovic and Silvestre, Forlan signed for Internacional

After Lucio departure, Inter found perfect solution for the center back position in Palermo's Matias Silvestre. Argentinian international is coming to Inter on a season long loan with an opinion to sign permanent deal at the end of the season. Inter will pay 2 millions now and if they are willing to keep him more than one year, another 9 millions must be paid to Palermo. Another big name signing for Inter is Slovenian international Samir Handanovic, excellent shotstoping goalkeeper and he would be huge boost on the goalkeeper position following Julio Cesar's weak form and his recent injuries. Inter paid Udinese 11 millions Euro plus the co-ownership of youngster Mateo Faraoni. Handanovic signed 4-year contract.  On the other way after Lucio mutual termination, same happened with Diego Forlan, who spent only one year wearing Inter jersey. Forlan came in Inter last summer and he was announced as a replacement for Samuel Eto'o but failed to prove himself, scoring only 2 goals in 22 league appearances for Inter. His new club is Internacional.
