Moratti: It's not time to discuss Stramaccioni's future
The Inter president has insisted that he will not make a decision about the coach until after their game with Udinese on Sunday. Inter president Massimo Moratti has insisted that he will not discuss coach Andrea Stramaccioni's future until the end of the season.
The
San Siro outfit currently sit in ninth place of the Serie A with no
chance of qualifying for a continental competition next season.
Moratti
has previously insisted that he will stand by his young coach, despite
the disappointing campaign, but now says he will make a definitive
decision after their clash with Udinese next week.
"It is not yet
time to talk about his future, there is still a match left this season,
let him work in peace," the 67-year-old told reporters. "The number of defeats collected this season will not affect the decision on whether or not he will stay, that would be absurd."
Stramaccioni
took the reins at the club last season on an interim basis after
Claudio Ranieri's sacking and was subsequently awarded the job
permanently.
