"Corriere": Lukaku is too expensive, Inter has a new option - Edinson Cavani!

The Italian media, "Corriere dello sport " has said that Inter has canceled the intention to bring Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester United reportedly does not want to put down the price below 80 million euros and the Italians think it is too much. The second option was Edin Dzeko, but the situation with the Bosnian striker complicated because Roma did not want to let him go until they found an adequate substitute. The Romans would love to get Higuain first, but the negotiations are at the very beginning, and Inter does not want to wait long.

As Corriere writes, Antonio Conte and his co-workers have turned to Edinson Cavani whom they see as the ideal striker in the new Inter. The Uruguayan is a cheaper, and perhaps better choice from Lukaku because his statistics from recent seasons is impressive. In addition, he has only one more year in the PSG deal and is expected to have a market price of about 40m euros.

Cavani arrived in PSG six years ago for 65 million euros and in 279 matches for PSG scored 193 goals and scored 40 assists. Last season he scored 23 goals and nine assists, in which he scored 40 goals and added 11 assists.
